*Watch* SB1324 Fail Third Read, But Pass , 20 Minutes Later

What, I thought, was going to be a simple vote, with no one talking or explaining, blew up. SB 1324 is Senator TJ Shopes (R-D8) bill that deals with taxes from prop. 207 Smart and Safe Act of Arizona. The bill failed, mostly in part to Rep. Kevin Payne (R-D21) and Rep Teresa Martinez (R-D11), explaining their “no” vote, therefore killing the bill. However, right when the House Floor committee was about to wrap up, Payne motioned to reconsider the legislation. And with a simple yes or no vote, SB1324 passed.
